I am having problems with Photoshop CS3, when I select the Type Tool.
I get an the following error:

Could not complete your request because of a program error.

I am using Apple Leopard. This seems to be a very common problem, does anyone have any solutions on how to fix this issue?

Thank You,

Sebastian

...there is definitely reports of this flying around, much like with CS2 and Intel when that transformation was made...

...one possible culprit are the font cache files, to clean those out download cocktail for leopard:

...run permission repair/checks and set every cache removal setting to on, then reboot...

...i've heard this can certainly help out, also ensure you have the latest updates on both leopard and CS3 that are currently available..

...it is also good practice to keep your font locations as empty as possible, apart from the system fonts folder and the abobe fonts 'rqrd' folder...

...if not already, try managing fonts with fontexplorer, hich can also clean system and application cache files for better performance:

...also, adobe are likely, as we type, building updates for CS3 and leopard, particularly true of Acrobat 8...

...apple are likely doing the same with leopard...

...so keep an eye for those in the very near future...

...adobe do however, believe this is more an issue with leopard and are working with apple to release a leopard update...
