Photoshop CS tryout won't work with Windows ME?

yes, we still have Windows ME, and I wanted to try the newest version of Photoshop (version 8) but when I downloaded it it said that my OS wasn't supported, even though on the download site it said Windows ME compatible.

Is all hope gone? Is there any way for me to try this out? thanks a lot.

Whrere did it say that it was? On the Adobe site?

It shouldn't do because it's definately not compatible with ME.

Got a friend or co-worker with Windows 2000 or XP. Or a Mac even?

it's probably worth the 2k upgrade, there's so much more it can do!
