Photoshop Actions

We are currently in the process of making Photoshop compliant with our corporate desktop build, and I was wondering about the actions element of the program, and if anything untoward can be hidden in an action downloaded off the net, like viruses hidden in Office macros?

AFAIK it is impossible to embed a virus or trojan in PS actions, and also to embed any devious code. I have never heard of anyone figuring out how to create actions that act with anything except for Photoshop, so while it may be possible to create actions that will destroy a graphic you are working on, I would say you are safe.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
