I've just started using PS7 and while correcting a photo using curves or levels, the info palette disappears, so I can not see the information while adjusting the tones of the photo. Any ideas? And also can anyone tell me how to use the pen tool to make a selection, it is different to PS 5.5.

for the information palet look in the windows menu. look for info/navagation.

if info is on make sure you haven't locked it into the top right section of the screen. Adobe have added a docking area there and this got me for a while.

As for the selections with the pen tool you make your pathe and then right click (with either a pen or path selection tool) and seleck make selection. you can also do this by alt + lmb over the selected path in the layers.

Hope this helps. Manic
