Photoshop 7 has a wonderful new "browser" for viewing and opening images. The default folder that opens in the browser is totally unpredictable. When I first started using the browser, it would default to "My documents", and then for a while it opened to the last used folder (what I always want to happen).
Lately it's been opening to "Desktop", and there are a lot of clicks to get down to the folder which has my images.
Some people have said that update 7.0.1 fixed this to always use the last used folder. But I have 7.0.1, and even tried a reinstall of that, but things still open to "desktop". And, randomly, one of my image folders strangely shows up when I load Photoshop 7. and go into the browser.
Why Adobe didn't give the user a "preference" to have a specified folder open each time, or allow the user to specify that the last used folder open, is a mystery to me.
This great new bowser has a "wart" on it, and I can't make it go away. There are probably some Registry entries that need to be worked on.
Does anyone have any good tips for this problem?
