photoshop 7 book

Hi,
There are sooooooooo many books out their that your choice list is huge.
These books are very good (quite pricey though):
To be honest though. I would first goto the library and sign out alot of books and flip throught them and determine which one is the most helpful and the most useful/resourceful. Then once you have found the best one go and buy it (if you want). I would also recommend getting some books the are more advanced too so that you have more options and examples of stuff you can do besides just the basics of Photoshop. I went to a 4 hour seminar/workshop and the instructor had about 20 books to show all were very good, from the basics to the very advanced books. If you think you are going to use photoshop alot or get into graphics design then I would suggest planning ahead and getting yourself a more advanced book (if you are already comfortable with the layout and the commands and can do very basic things with ease.

I find the best books written are by Lynda Weinman.
Pick up her PhotoShop H-O-T books. (Hands on Training)...it is excellent. Written for easy understanding and has great tutorials on a CD.
I also have her Flash H-O-T book which is also great.
