I use Microsoft Image Composer to develop my photos. They look excellent when I edit them but when I insert them into the web (Front Page) they look nowhere near as clear. It seems as though the pixels are larged when inserted in Front Page. Should I be saving the file as something else? Where can I adjust the compression. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Adam

FrontPage tends to insert a larger scaled photo in a web page. This would cause what you describe. It does not affect the file itself--only the appearance on your page.

To fix, click on the photo so the black handles appear. Click on a corner handle, hold the mouse key down, and drag the handle in to adjust the scaling.

Actually, the default for frontpage is to make pictures at 75% of their quality (at least for jpgs) To fix this, right click the picture and change the quality to 100% -Phil
