photographs

Hi ive recently been asigned to produce a number of "glossy" brochures. I am having trouble in getting my hands on free/reasonably priced, copyright/royalty free photos.
The work i am doing is for commercial use, I have been able to get a hold of a couple of CD's at a reasonable price but most I simply cant afford. If anybody has any ideas or could point me in the right direction it will be most appreciated.
