Photo Shop 7 Won't Print Preview?

I just loaded PS 7 on my Dell laptop. I was running it on my Desktop PC without issues. All seems to work well until I perform a print preview, then PS locks up.
I've experiemented with memory and cache settings, nothing seems to help. My laptop has more RAM than the Desktop did.
Please help.

For Starters: what does your laptop have for power CPU MHZ, memory, disk space avail?

Are you running PS alone?

How much memory is avail while PS is running?

Thanks for the reply!! I finally figured out what was happening. XP allows me to have two monitors on the Laptop, the built in unit as well as an external one I use for other applications.
Photoshop was putting the preview on the Other Monitor, which wasn't connected, and appeared to be locked up.
I had to connect the other monitor, drag photoshop print preview window over to the main monitor and then close. From now on, photoshop will always be used by one monitor as it appears to not have the intelligence of say....Outlook which will adjust for monitor counts.

Actually a friend of mine uses an apple with 2 monitors for PShop and it works quite well. One monitor for the pic the other for all the control windows.

I'm thinking of doing the same on my PC.
