Hello,
I have a photosmart 7960 printer which I have just bought. I can print pictures fine using the hp photo paper which came as a sample with the printer. I have bought some glossy picture picture paper from an aftermarket provider and pictures willnot print correctly. The picture comes out all blurry and the ink is runny. Is there a setting that I am missing or will this paper just not work with the printer?
Any help would be apreciated.
Thank You.

I would say that you have incompatible paper, as it would appear that the absorbancy factor is not correct for the photosmart ink, hence the blurring and smearing

It's always best to use the mfg's paper unless you know how to set up the printer for someone else's paper.
