Thanks Brushman but nothing worked in the adjust dropdown.
Right after I sent this thread I thought about a reinstall and did something new. Uninstalled all versions. Then Installed my 10 upgrade and it let me just put in my full 9 CD in the drive to show I had a pre version and installed 10 clean not over the top of another. All is running good now.

Regarding upgrades, you can upgrade to another version of Draw and if you use the defaults it is quit ok to have several versions of Draw installed at the same time. When things seem to stop working 1st thing to try is pressing F8 when launching Draw and accepting the factory default workspace.
