Photo Gallery

Hi folks,
I'm a newbie when it comes to html stuff.
I'm trying to come up with an online photo album. I want to distribute login info to users and allow them to upload & download photos, and have the website automatically generate a thumbnail gallery.
Is there any simple way to do this?

You will need a server-side language for image uploading, image displaying, and username/password checks, such as PHP or ASP. Take a look at these.

There is a simple way of doing this, use one of the many free photo galleries already made. For example, Coppermine is a great online photo gallery that does all that you said in your post. You can see it at my website and download it from sourceforge at:
