Hi folks:

Many of my clients ask for photo galleries. The thumbnail galleries are easy. Thumbnail referenced to larger photo. But the gallery that uses the "next" and "back" buttons seem to be quite combersome the way I am doing them. I know that I'm doing things the hard way.

I have a page with a photo, a next button and a back button . Gallery 3 would reference the next button to gallery4.html and the back button is referenced to gallery2.html. In other words I load a new page everytime someone hits next or back. It gets quite cumbersome when there are 42 pics. I know I can use frames...but I hate them. Is there something easy that I'm missing?

For a photo gallery you would be better off either re-writing it in ASP so that you have an "admin" page to administrate the adding/editing/deleting of photos. Or alternatively use one of many freely available CGI Scripts that you can download. These again tend have an administration page to maintain the photos in the gallery.
