I am using a photo gallery on my web page. I liked the layout of the thumb nails along the top, when you click one the picture is shown below. This works great local, but when I upload it, I get a javascript error code at the bottom left corner and an error loading page message. Instead of the ability to scroll through the thumb nails, it tries to run them all the way across the page until I see empty boxes with red X’s in them.

Why does look good locally, but when you upload it changes?

Any ideas?

On your local computer, did you just create your web site in a folder or did you create a subweb and use that? FP treats a subweb like a enclosed entity so you can set up links properly and easily. If it's just a folder, FP does a hard coded link to your hard drive. If this is the case, it could be that the photo gallery is not pointed at another file on the Web site itself but one on your hard drive.

When I created the photo page, Frontpage created what it needed on its own. I did not add anything but the pictures, using the wizard.

However, my problem was simple corruption when uploading the files. After another try, everything loaded the then the page worked.

Thanks for the help.
