Photo Gallery Caption

I type the caption for my pictures in the Photo Gallery in the indicated space. I click OK, and it returns to the page, but there are no captions. What more do I need to do?

I don't recall a Photo Gallery function in FrontPage unless it's a new feature in 2002, I use 2000. The only thing I can think of might be the Clip Art Gallery. All it does is insert pictures, not captions.

No, I did not. I think this is a bug that Microsoft needs to address. If I come across anything, I'll let you know.

There are a number of options for Photo Galleries in FrontPage.

Only two of them displays captions. Click on the second tab in the Insert Photo Gallery box (Layout) and make sure either Vertical or Horizontal layout is selected. Montage & slideshow does not have caption options, even though they allow you to type it into the caption field...(It is Microsoft, who knows why, unless it is a website function to allow text display if the photo doesn't load)
