I have a problem with Microsoft Photo Editor. When I install the program from the Administrator account. The program will open fine and everything works.

However, when a regular user logs in and tries to access the program an error occurs with the following statement: No file format information can be found in the registry.

After which the program will finish loading and appear to be working until you attempt to open a photo. Then another error occurs say it cannot find or open the photo.

Anyone have any ideas?

This is typical of an Office application that hasn't been correctly registered in Windows. You need to use Start, Run and type in the startup name with /regserver. I'm not sure what the start commnad is for photo editor, but if it was Word, you would trype in

winword /regserver

Do the same for whatever Photo Editor needs.

Thank you for your answer. I did want you said and the error is still occuring. I do not see any other programs that the Photo editor is depended upon. Does anyone else having any idea's on the solution.
