Hi all,
I'm doing a project creating a photo displayer with scrolling thumbnails, and it seems to me that there is no easy way to do it in either flash or director.
A mocked up graphic of what I would like the final product to look like can be found at:
Ok... Here are my issues.
1. Flash seems the best medium for the scolling thumbnails because you can create a single movieclip containing the thumbnails and scroll the whole thing up and down, and as far as I can see there is no way to collectively control the thumbnails in director.
2. Director seems to be best for transferring the bitmaps back and forth from the frames because they can make transparent, the extra backgrounds and you can use the 'membernum' lingo to exchange cast members.
3. Director seems to be the best for the bits of 3d which I am imbedding. But I am able to do it in swift3d if necessary.
Does anyone have any solutions to any of these problems, or could someone suggest which system (flash or director) to use for this project.
thanks in advance.
