I am attempting to install Phontage ver 5.1Ad onto a PC running Windows 7 Professional. The PC has never had a Phontage installation before.

I am selecting the deluxe option as I wish to use the complementary licences available on the iPECS.

No matter what I try, the installation always reverts to Basic, so the complementary licences are invalid. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting the folder remnants after uninstall, clearing out the registry, changing the install path, but despite selecting the Deluxe Option, Phontage always installs with the Basic Mode.

Are their any pre-requesits as far as PC specification and/or software (Outlook etc) to enable the deluxe install?

Any idea's will be appreciated.

You need licenses for Phontage (softphone). Both basic and de-luxe licenses exist, so you may only have installed basic user licenses.
Two basic user licenses come with the system free of charge.

I have seen this before....
You need to un-install Phontage...
Then goto
Windows, Program Files and find the Folder containing Phontage and delete it...

Then re-install Phontage.

Hi Steve

Thanks for your reply. I have already tried that, but without success. Phontage still installs as basic.
