We have IPO 406V2, Office Manager 4.1, intent to moveforward to 4.2. Can somebody tell if series 1600 series support on this combo hardware/software?
Besides, can some one suggest a conference phone (IP or whatever), speaker phone that can be used with this combo?
Thanks

No reason that 16xxs wouldnt work just make sure you have VCMs if you are not currently using IP Phones.
The speaker phones that we sell are mostly Polycom Soundstation 2s or if you want something for a bigger conference room the VTX1000(it has a separate subwoofer:)

Does anybody know if the Polycom Soundstation IP6000 or IP7000 will work with the IPO 406V2?

The ip6000 is the same as the 4690 and they do not work !
The 4690 is seen as a 9600 series phone wich also does not work

In 5.0 they are planning support or an ipconference phone special for the ipoffice

Probably they have trouble getting the 4690 working well on the ipo

@ cspectra,

No you're not, the AVAYA IP Conference Phone will not work, there are H323 Conference phones and Analog Conference Phones that work.

bas1234,
Could you what H323 conference phone modules, please?

About tlpeter' answer, Polycom tech said that it was made, then sold to Avaya, for Definity only, not sure if it work with IPOs.
I saw several model of VTX1000, no sure which ones surely work with the IPO 406V2.

I did work with the ipo with some older versions
Now it does not work anymore
It is programmed out of the system

if you dont want to get confused or re-engeneer anything just go analog (soundstation2 or VTX1000s)

The only difference between the VTXs are if they include extra mics or the subwoofer or not. there are also different part numbers for 2 packs, 2 packs with mics, 2packs with subs, ect.

Yes, tlpeter. We tried to hook them up, but no success. Is there any tricks to set them up?

have you followed the procedure for upgrading the phones?

are you using a http server or the ip office?

arsene knows......

everything. apart from the importance of depth in a squad. and what a chequebook looks like......

I am using the IP Office, not http server, and I did followed the document. I made all 5610SW phone successfully, but not the 1603 and 1608.

what have you got set as your http and tftp server ip addresses?

whats the ip address of the ip office and the machine running manager?

TomMills,
You probably think that there is an IP conflict or whatever, but notice that all other 40 5610SW phones are working fine. But for your answer, IPO a.b.c.1 and pc running manager a.c.b.3, mask is 255.255.255.0.

No he's indicating that to wotk properly as well as the system being a different IP address as the PC you need to anter the PC address as the HTTP server but the IPO as the TFTP server for the TFTP/HTTP relay to work.
