Bringing this back to life. I have had several 5330\5340 do the exact same thing over the past 3 years and was wondering if anyone had found a fix for this. I have found in a few cases that setting a static IP on the phone works but on others the only option is to use 2 cables or 1 power brick plugged into the POE port and a data cable plugged into the PC port on phone. I have talked to several techs and they say it is a hardware issue with the earlier lot of phones and that all newer phones do not have this issue.
