Hi guys, so new issue is that at a client some phones wil randomly place a call on hold as soon as you answer the call...

The only way I've found to fix this is by rebooting the phones...
This happens about once a month and bounces around between extensions.

Any way to stop this from happening at all?

3300 MCD 4.2

Thanks
Chris

How are they answering the call? Do you have ringing line select set in the COS of the phones. What is the phone set up for key appearances, single line or mulitline? Not seen this issue but wondering if it might be how the user answers the call.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

the call gets answered by lifting the handset, ringing line select is set to No in COS.
If I checked correctly the line type is single line.

Thanks for the help LoopyLou

Can't do that as everybody wants the RCC feature in MS Lync.
Isn't there a setting in Lync that is causing this or any way to stop it without having to remove the remote call control that integrates Lync and Mitel?

Thanks

Check if there are any know issues with Lync.

Thanks guys, never had this issue with OCS but after upgrading to Lync it happens every now and again.

Thanks again guys!
