We have been having ip phones get hung to where when you push a key to dial like 1 you get 11 and you push 2 you get 22 and so on. After you reboot the phone it works correctly again. We origianlly thought this was a few bad phones, but it is happening more frequently now. Our users are getting tired of having to rebot their phones. Anybody ever encountered this?

Not yet... :)

If I have same problem I will let know....

I hope someone will give you the best solution..

Good luck...

Someone said they had trouble with the bottom row of keys * 0 # and they had to replace the power module in the phone to fix it (which doesn't make sense to me without a schematic). Truth be known if your 1140s are from late 2007 early 2008 and you are running a gig ethernet they will end up failing (not being able to boot) and you will have to replace the power modules anyway. Best of luck. We have not had your same issue.
