Phones - Ethernet Disconnected

Got an issue with alot of phones showing "No Ethernet". Also the laptops connected also show no link light. The jack and cabling are good. We also checked the switch port, good. When we unplug the phone from the equation, the laptop comes back up with a link light. If this were just one instance I could say it's a bad phone but this is happening on alot of phones today. I actually moved one of the "bad phones" to another floor and it worked. We are actuall opening a TAC with Cisco right now. Any help would be appreciated.

are you using POE switches or power bricks? what type of switches?
