Is there a setting that causes a phone not to reinitialize after being unplugged?

Even if you unplug the phone and then plug it back in seconds later in the same outlet it seems to lose its programming or something??

Any help is appreciated.

this may sound like a dunmb question to ask, but are you waiting long enough for the phone to come back up cause it could take awhile especially if "set Rlocation" is turned on in your system.

Yep, we unplugged one phone and quickly plugged it back in the same outlet and left it overnight. Still nothing!! This happens with any outlet in the building!!

I have seen this once before, what I did was tried different phones, like I'm sure you've done. In a nutshell, I had 2 bad station ports, but I'd hate to think that's whats happening to you since you are saying it happens on ANY jack in your office. You may need to get a Tech out to test your cabling or look into it a bit more.

is it possable you have more than one telephone on a single station port?? ( half tap wiring )
