Have installed Phone Manager 3.0.12 on the office machines, and the phones display "Not Logged On" whenever the Phone Manager isn't running. Any way of stopping this?

Log the phone on manually through the handset *35*ext#

Open phone manager, click configure and pbx, in the login area untick login/logout

This is caused by entering the extension number during installation (not at the start, newar the end, usually leave this blank)

Thanks for the reply Jester,

I thought it might be something to do with that tick box, but it only seems to connect successfully when that box and extension number is ticked. If that box is un-ticked, then I get a "invalid username or password" error when phone manager starts.

Using the short code you suggested, namely *35*extn#, just gives a "DISCONNECTED" message on the phone. Am currently rebooting the phone system and uninstalling and reinstalling PM3 on one machine in an attempt to resolve.

we've had the same problem with some users ticking the box. Reboot of the IPO sorts the prob, and then they login without the tick box.

The *35 short code doesn't work, unless you make the hot desk users - which isn't very helpful!

You have to log the phone on manually first otherwise phone manager pro can not see the user.

program login code for the user in the telephony tab.

*35*ext*pass#

I was pretty sure *35*ext# worked if the user was not logged in anywhere and had no login code (hot desk)

If a user, who has no login code, has been logged out of their normal extension by the action of Phone Manager or other login users, just repeating the *36 logout shortcode again usually reassociates the extension with its default user.
