Does anyone know if the newer phones work with the KX-TD. I spoke to Panasonic direct and they said that the 76xx series and 77xx (using analog XDP pair) series will work with limited functionality. Has anyone tested this and does anyone know what these limted functions are??

The old 77xx series phones work fine as long as they are connected to a DHLC card on the TDA.

And when connected to a 816 or 1232 they have to be connected using all 4 wires of a port and have the xdp turned off.

Can't remember exactly the limitations with them, but I think I used to have trouble programming via the handset with them.

Thanks guys

The 77xx I guessed as much but it seems strange Panasonic said that the 76xx should work. I will be at Panasonic this week for some training and hopefully I can get one of there guys to test this.
