On MCD 4.0 is there a way to add anything globally to keys 9,10, and 11 on my 5320's and 5330's? I have hot desk and phonebook on there and it would be nice to have an account code globally to free up another key.

Use Copy Keys if the set types match

Use import spreadsheet if not.

Be carefull using copy keys if you are hotdesking
Hotdesk users get 48 keys as do 5340's but 5330's only have 24 and as they are only on one side instead of both then the keys might not map exactly as you might anticipate.
If you are not hotdesking then use the copy keys per set type so that match correctly as KwbMitel has said.

No I already know how to copy...I was talking about the buttons "on the top side of the line" on the 5320's & 5330's. Is there a way to put a feature in that area?

Yes you can on a 5340
They are called float keys and you program them up through the applications menu on the phone.
Check the help file on the 3300 for a more detailed explanation.

What you are refering to are called softkeys and their functionality is usually dependant on the phone activities at the time. They are not numbered as you indicated earlier and thus the confusion.

5330's and 5340's and probably 5360's have float key abilities. Float keys have very limited functions. The help files should be enough to get you through.

Well, first of all you're not going to have much luck putting anything on keys 9, 10, or 11 of a 5320 (it's only an 8-button phone.)

In general you can copy keys from one set to the keys of one or more sets of the same type: PROVIDED THAT THE KEYS ON THE DESTINATION SETS ARE UNASSIGNED.

In MCD 4.0 (or earlier) you can select "Copy Keys" on the multiline set key assignment form. (In MCD 4.1 this is on the "Keys" tab of the "User and Device Configuration Form".

Check the checkbox on the keys you wish to copy, and in the destination box list the prime DNs of the phones you wish to copy the keys to (example: 5529, 5537, 5600-5630, etc.)
