I have a request to have a local phone number ring on a CME in one state and a call manager phone in another at the same time. Pri is on a 3825 at the CME site. I do have network connectivity between the sites. How can I get this to work or even will it. Has anyone set something like this up.

Since they are two different systems no. You can forward to the ccm phone on a busy or no answer or make the cme an SRST site off the ccm. Then they would be part of the same system and ring at both phones.

I agree with WhyKap, make the remote an SRST to make it part of the same system....

Shared lines can then be used on the two phones....

Setup route plans for your local calls and do not forget dial peers for SRST mode.... I would also install an FXO card with regular lines for 911 services....

Thanks this is in line with what I was thinking needed done. If the CME is already set up can I do this in phases. Like connecting the 2 and then slowly migrate phones over to the call manager? If I set the CME up as an H323 gateway on the Call manager will it cause any problems witht the CME or phones on it?

I would use MGCP personally, let the CallManager control the remote site and set up SRST so if the WAN connection goes away it will turn back into a CME... But for what you want to have done, you need to push the CME over to the CallManager.
