Hello i have an issue here where users with a Freeseat (Hotdesk) number are logging onto handsets that are already inuse by a standard "fixed desk" user. This put that handset into a blocking state which my switchboard is complaining about!
Two questions -

1) is there a way to avoid this, i.e. deliver the call somewhere else autmatically (without using PELPI)

2) Can anyone tell me which Character string is used for this particular blocked state so that i can change it to something more meaningful (KSTSP).

Thanks
Al.

Mainly becuase a user can log onto any phone that they wish to, we have over 400 handsets and each of these has there own individual set ups - Basically it would very a very large piece of work to apply 400 individual and different profiles to all of the handsets!

So far the best work around we have is user training - i.e. before logging onto a desk phone, the user should ensure that a Follow Me has been applied to the handset, this does work - but is reliant on the user!

Thank you for your feedback.

Hi,

I have the very same issue here and i was trying something out with NUTRI. I have abbreviated the procedure *11*authcode* to a simple *# and would to do something like that for *10*1# in combination with *#, but it won't work. If someone has any ideas about this: please help us out!

Thanks,
NCCOI.

was it not that if KSEXI without LIC=2 then the handset was not for freeseating as freeseating license not allocated to extension, so KSEXI:DIR=...,; with no LIC means cannot be freeseated? I remember freeseating not working when LIC=2 not set in past but have not looked at this for a long time.

sorry i forget, LIC is for the freeseat number not KSEXI, ignore previous!
