phone says "service"?

Hi All.

IP Office 500 v2, running 11.0.4.5 with a PRI card and SCN's over DSL. (And yes I know that isn't wise, but I work with what i have, and I did put a firewall on their SCN links for security.

I have a "one way talk path" issue with a customer, and when they e-mailed me, they said the phone, when it happened, said:
SERVICE.

It comes to mind that it might have said "Out of Service", and they just didn't see that, or just took a quick glance and saw SERVICE.

To ensure that this is not something else, has anyone ever seen SERVICE displays on their phone?
