Is there anything on Mitel's roadmap to prevent static from Blackberry devices?

Thanks

Ron

If you are speaking of interference from Wireless devices when they are communicating by ringing signals or datasync's the the problem is not isolated to BB.

To expect Mitel to shield their phones from said interference is a bit much to ask in my opinion.

Flip the question, what is BB doing to prevent their phones from interfering?

If that came across harsh it was unintentional, The flip question is valid, not retorical.

Ya, the problem is the BB. Mine will trigger on any kind of speaker including my alarm clock when playing the radio and my guitar amp!

If you did not take enough time to get it right the first time...

What makes you think that you have time to fix it?

Polycom conference units have some sort of solution for that, so I see a valid point for this question.

Slapin, I really don't want to get into a debate on this but I can't resist.

The Blackberry is causing the interferance, why do you think it is the responsibilty Mitel to shield themselves from it?

Comparing a common desktop phone to a Polycom conference unit is apples and oranges.

It is not matter of comparation, just a fact that there was an R&D process which produced a solution for the problem. Plus Polycom made it as one of the selling points that device is immune to this kind of interferrence.
It is on one hand. On other hand even if there is a plan for it, nobody will reveal this information because it is devinitely can influence sales of new systems while very often decisions are made based on first impression. So we will know about it when new hardware will be released like it happened with 5312/24 which specifily designed to lower power consumption and presented as "green friendly" solution.
