I have encountered an issue where phones once registered to the processor ethernet do not provide dial tone when the receiver is picked up the first time. On checking the ip logs in CM it indicates the phones timeout when they do not receive packets back to them from the processor ehternet on port 1720. However when the line is cleared and reengaged there is dial tone the second time. I am not sure why every time when the phones are rebooted I am encountering this problem and never having an issue on the 2nd call set up.
If there was blockage on port 1720 I would expect the phones never to set up a call. Has anyone else encountered this issue before?. Logs are shown below
