Yesterday we had a FIJI card that decided to take a break. It caused are phone switch to INI itself. When the phone switch came back on line some of the phones have changed appearances. I have tried numerous attempts to bring them back to what they are suppose to be. I have tried flash downloads, changing features, deleting them and rebuilding them, disabling the phone, disabling the card and reseating them and it still doesn't work. This is on a Nortel 81c and we are using M3904 phones. Any Help would be great, since our service provider doesn't think it is a great issue to have our phones up and working. Thanks to all the reply!!!!!

what type of changes are you seeing, i would split the cores and do a reload if the problem is that serious.

The main number is missing off the phone, the display screen is displaying different symbols instead of our logo, ring again is active on the phones and we do not use it, there are a few phones that now have room service key on the phone and we are not a hotel. It is very strange to look at the phones.

hmmm sound like a major **** up....

I have grief with our provider as well.... dial tone???? what's that????

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

It is more like FUBAR!!!!!! major **** up is normal everyday business around here. I need to take a picture of one of the phones and post it on here.

To all:
The problem was with a controller card in the shelf. Disabling the shelf and re-downloading the controller fixed the problem. Good lesson learned. Most of the TN's affected where in this shelf. There were about 6 that where not in this shelf.
