phone picks up on intercom instead of dial tone 1

I have a partner r6 system. One of my phones has 2 lines
assigned to to ext. 20. line 5 and line 9.
When user picks up the handset it automatically goes to
the intercom button. I want it to go to line 5 when he
picks up.How do I program his ext. to do this.
His phone is a mls-6 non display phone. I have the 34d
programming phone.

If anyone else needs help on this issue you have to go to centralized programming. I was trying to program the buttons in system using # 301. To have the phone answer at a certain button you do this in centralized programming.
