Hey All,

We are using an IP Office paired with T7316E phones. One of them is picking up an AM radio channel. Both the extension and whoever they are talking to can hear the channel. It is only this 1 extension. We've tried swapping out the phone but it's still there.

Any idea how the heck this is even happening?
Is there anything in Avaya Manager that can be done to mitigate this?
Any feedback or possible solutions is appreciated.

Thanks,

RF inductance.
If it's not the handset or the trunk it may be the line cords.

This link covers it better than a dozen monkeys bashing away at a dozen keyboards.

There's even an RF troubleshooting flow chart (outstanding):

The important thing to remember is that you must take each incident as its own case of trouble. 5 incidences does not a problem make.
I use incident and problem terminology here as per the ITIL methodology.

Gunpoint 132 and Bush.Cover's code three

I've had that happen. Shielded cable was the answer.
