phone only rings aloud once

BC10, Generic extension.
i assume the user has diverted to an unused extension, i find Dynatext unfriendly to use, whats the command to check for diversions, is there any other parameter that could actually cause one ring cycle to be heard?

Try SUSIP. If there is MEW ACT in ADD INFO it means that MESSAGE WAITING from VoiceMail or operator is activated. You should make #91# to cancel it.

it seems to be mew-notification. aspaparnum=88 decides how it will be done. From BC10 (0 or 1) to BC11 ( 0 to 5) the parval ist basically changed.

I find that this normally happens whe the user has a profile pointing to a "bad" number. Does the user have a Profile?

Using FIOL key in the command PELPPIR=xxxx;

This will show you if there is a profile initiated on that extension. If there is, check the number it's going to.

thats not it either. No profiles set up. The user reports that the phone rings out loud once only but continues ringing. I've requested to confirm whether she can still answer the call with after the one ring.

But in advance, is it possible to have only one ring cycle?
what else would cause just one ring cycle to happen?

you say it's a generic extension, what do you mean by that?
is it a cordless extension, free seating, IP,..?? or is the extension digital ? Your question confuses me a bit...
