Phone Number on S/O Invoice/Sales Order

Hi,

I would like to add the phone number of the customer onto the the Sales Order and the Invoice. The problem I am running into is upon adding the AR1_Customer database table the report goes very slow as if searching through the database by selecting from the SO20?_CRWInvoiceDataHeader by customer number. I tried to make the phone number a sub report passing a parameter of the customer number but that did not make it any faster or work too well. Any thoughts upon how to quickly add the phone number on these reports without significantly slowing down the report?

Unfortunately the slowness is something you are going to have to live with until you upgrade to v4.20. At that level it would be a simple matter of adding the field to the work table and the speed would not change.

Did you link by division and customer number?

Did you uncheck "use indexes or server for speed"?

I don't think it should slow it down that much.

However, I would agree that upgrading is overall in your best interest.

Thanks guys, I still have to upgrade but it seems to work if I use the Invoice Printing option in Sales Order for bulk printing strangely enough. Thanks!
