Phone not logging back in after softphone logs out

Hi! Once upon a firmware ago (6.8003 to 6.8202), our 9611G phones would automatically log back in after their extension was logged out of a softphone. It doesn't seem to be working anymore. Now when you log into a softphone with an extension the phone says "Extension in Use # to Register" and when you logout of the softphone, that doesn't change. Pressing # just brings you to the login screen and prompts for the password. I can't find anything other than QKLOGINSTAT in the 46xxsettings.txt, but I'm hoping I'm just missing something. Any ideas?
