I have a user who has changed his PC and would like to keep all his speed dial entries. As there is no import/export feature i just copied the whole folder from the old PC to the new PC without any luck.

Any ideas would be excellent.

I don't think you can do this.

There is no file, and nothing obvious in the registry regarding the speed dials.

We checked this with avaya & they say it cant be done
(gold star to the 1st person to prove them wrong)

I may have a solution,
In the registry the speed dials are a binary value called ListViewSpeed2. under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Avaya\IP400\PhoneManager

So, if you export the key and import it on the new PC (makeing sure the path are ok), you should have all your speed dials. I just did this and works fine for me.

Congratulations, this should save a few problems - 1 star as promised
