Our company has recently sublet some of our office space to another company who will be sharing our phone system. To ensure security they are on a part of the network which has been firewalled off but will still need to be able to use the phone manager application on their PC's as we use the non-display model.
I have opened up all ports to our PBX from their subnet but the phone manager software does not appear to be working. When they log in or out I can see packets passing through but when I call their phones the software doesnt have any knowledge of the call.
Can anyone tell me how the IP400 PBX communicates with the client PC's when calls are made of voicemail's left. I assume it works on broadcasts which the firewall isnt forwarding but I wanted to be sure.
Thanks
