I have a user whose speed dial in phone manager disappear over the weekend.
Apparently, they disappear only when the PC has been off all weekend, not during the rest of the week.
As the speed dials are held in the registry, can I assume this is a PC problem rather that a problem with the PhoneManager software or the IPO?
Any thoughts appreciated!
Thx

I would suspect Error 30

(The fault is located 30cm from the equipment)

hehe - in north america we refer to that as an ID 10T error (eliminate the space to see what I mean).

why don't you export the registry key to the desktop and when the user come's back in after the weekend, before opening PM, double click on the registry key to import it back in and then open PM as a temporary fix, other than that check their permissions. Here we refer to the situation as being the problem with a lose nut behind the keyboard

since we have upgraded to v3 pm pro speed dials have been disappearing randomly amongst users, yet another improvment? cant call whats not there so cant complain about other system functionality?

where are the speed dials held in the registry? i am unable to find them.

Thanks,
Jen
