I have some issues with a recent install of a IP412 with unlimited Phone Manager Pro licensed.

1. A couple of users find that the application comes up and says "Phone Manager Pro - unlicensed" in the title bar. If you reconnect to the IPO it clears this. They are both using Windows XP. I have checked in the User Telephony Tab in Manager and they are both set to Pro.

2. Some users experience the User BLF icons in the Speed Dial window are not updating or do not work at all. If you try to reconnect to the IPO they might come back or might not. They might go a day without them working then the next they will.

3. Users are being disabled from their respective hunt groups.

4. On user running NT on the desktop, the Phone Manager Pro software will automatically close. When re-opened, all Speed Dials are gone.

Does anyone have any idea on these issues?

Thanks

I have experienced all these issues and am starting to think it must be specific to the OS running on the pc

I have had problems with Phone Manager iPro and mixed OS's. I've found that whatever PC connects first, whatever OS it is running rules until the next time there is nobody connected with PM. Subsequent PM connections won't work properly unless they're running the same OS as the person who logged in first that morning. Does seem to matter which one gets in first (XP Pro or Win2K Pro), that is the one that will rule.

i'm not a telecoms guy but i think we fixed the:

1. A couple of users find that the application comes up and says "Phone Manager Pro - unlicensed" in the title bar. If you reconnect to the IPO it clears this. They are both using Windows XP. I have checked in the User Telephony Tab in Manager and they are both set to Pro.

problem by going to preferences, audio codec, and checking confirm voip address (and enable fast start)...

but i could be wrong... ;)

I have experienced the problem of users getting disabled from hunt groups by just editing there preferences. avaya said this was fixed in latest 2.1 (24)bins and 2.1(8)PMPro But this is still happening. The way around it is to enable the members back in the group my the manager application. go to the phone manager pro completely exit the application restart it go to preferences go to agent mode check agent mode check the groups your part of and then uncheck agent mode. I have found it has fixed the problem.

entering preffs in PM will take a user out of Group
It is NOT ficed in V2.1.8 but does seem to be ok in V2.1.10 which has not yet been released :-(
