I have a customer who on there system has a 20 user phone manager pro license. He has assigned about 12 user's to pro but now when he tries adding another user, the phone manager resorts back to lite. What he has to then do is change another user from pro to lite, before the new user can use pro permanently. This has puzzled me because the system defiantely states he has a 20 user phone manager pro license, any help would be great thanks

Not an answer but this may help with diagnosing the issue.

Within one of the Phone Manager's that is running, go to "Help | About Phone Manager".

On the About screen, press Ctrl+Shift and click on the version number. You should see a list of the Phone Manager licences you have and the number left free (ie. not used).

if the application is installed, and opened, yet minimized to the system tray, it still uses a license. check to make sure that those who have closed the application, do not have the settings at minimize to the system tray on close. if so, it shows a small icon on the system tray, and is still actually open. you must right click on the icon in system tray , and click exit.

probably not the issue, but worth a check.

With sysmonitor you can see how many PM users are logged in the system and wich of them uses a PMpro license.
Also shown are the PC Names and IP Addresses.

Enable Development Tracing on the system tab and then select Partner Sessions from the Status menu.
Then a list will open wich will show all the active PhoneManager users, SoftConsole users and TAPI users.

Sizbut, you will see the number of free licenses plus one.
So always substract 1 from the free licenses list to get the "real" free licenses.
