Is this supported in any way by Avaya?
Have several sites using this, one in particular has problems with users logging into a citrix session, with their own login, PM will start up configured as different users, sometimes speed dials arent saved, settings change when no one changes them. Any other info on term/Citrix server setups???

Forgot to mention that site uses multiple servers, no load balancing, also, how can I make settings saved on one server be saved to the others.

I've played around with citrix metaframe and the phone manager software that comes with both the older argent office hardware and the newer ip office. The older software stored a lot of settings such as speed dials in local machine in the registry instead of current user. This meant that it could only be configured once per server. The newer ip office version seems to work better although I have not tested it that much. I do however use phone manager v2.1 here at work as I have a GNU/Linux desktop. As I am the only one using the citrix server it doesn't matter too much and the software works fine.

a lot of posts in this forum have mentioned problems with PM & citrix servers due to the lack of sound support
iirc if the error msg is ignored everything else works ok.
I would sugest you do a search of the forum for more acurate info.

Tech Tip 40 is for Citrix Support

Avaya SMBS has completed testing with PhoneManager release 2.0/2.1 in a Citrix environment. Please note that we have only tested on a UK-specification Citrix server, so we cannot guarantee compatibility with other version of Citrix. The following functionality has been confirmed:

Features supported:

PhoneManager Lite and PhoneManager Pro support

Outlook, Goldmine and Maximizer screen-pop support (no ACT! support)

Call recording and visual mailbox access to VoiceMail Pro

Features NOT supported:

iPhoneManager Pro, i.e. PhoneManager in VoIP mode (due to the inability to allow upstream audio on a Citrix Server with Client Audio Mapping)

Play sounds function (some support is possible if the -nosoundcheck line command option is used and the client machine has an audio card correctly mapped. However some delay in playing of the sound may be experienced.)

No other IP Office User CD applications have been tested on Citrix.

Have recently installed Version 2.1 on a 6 server Citrix XPa Server Farm

Prior to Version 2.1 , Version 2.0 no good as kept complaining about NO MIXER DEVICE found every time Phone Manager started.

Version 2.1 Works fine

As only 1 copy is installed on each Citrix Server we set it up to initially monitor a dummy user.

Each user then selected their IP Office system (Customer has 5 units all linked via WAN or LAN connections)and user name.

These settings where then saved into the users Windows 2003 profile when they logged off.

On reconnecting to the server farm they retained all of their Phone manager settings, including speed dials.

System has now been running for 4 weeks without any problems/
