site link in ipofficeinfo.com lays out the procedure quite well. The Admin zip file when unzipped stores the delta server software on your PC Simply follow the directions to the CBC folder, then delta server folder, then find the EXE. file and open it. No parameters to set through the set up, just hit next.
In the delta server under COMMS, set the IPO office to connect the delta server to. Click APPLY
Create a folder to put the SMDR files in. Then copy the folder path under the SMDR log file locationIN THE smdr tab of the DELTA SERVER ADMIN, and click enable SMDR.
I created a shortcut to the folder on the desk top, to make it easier for retrieval. When you click the link, the folDer opens, select the text file with the target date and open it. Excel will open the folder, if it is the default application for this file type, or right click, select open with excel.
Finaly, in order to activate the delta server service, reboot the delta server PC, in my case that is the VMPRO PC. If you know how through control panel, you can start the service with out a reboot.
The excel files opens the CSV file inserting headers into the spreadsheet.
It is really quite simple, follow the pdf file directions, and these notes, if you have trouble, answer back.
This does not give graphs, reports, etc. like Call Accounting Software CAS, but does give you the data in an excel spread sheet one file per day, the log will start a new file with the date in the file name at midnight each day.
If you want more functionality, try a CAS software from AVAYA.
Good hunting, this is free, no licenses required, just the time to set it up. Your installer will probably charge you for setting this up, maybe two hours time max. as I set it up to log to a file on the VMPRO server.
