Can someone walk me through how you would change the load of a phone? I see on the CCM under the phone where you can enter the load of the phone.

But where does it pull that info?

Any help would be great.

you would get an executable through TAC and install it on the Pub

Install it where on the Pub?

I am very Cisco "light". Please try to use baby steps.

you will need to contact TAC and get an updated version of the phone load, then they will send you an email with a link it that you will navigate to and grab the file off of their website.

When you get the file copy it to your publisher server either via network drive or thumb drive. Double click the file on your publisher and do the defaults of the wizard and it should install just fine. You will need to reset all the phones that were affected by the update as well, which can be done from the;
System->Device Defaults drop downs then click on the recycle button next to the phone type you want to reset. A confirmation should be asked to reset all phones of that type, and say yes.
