Phone indicates 0 new message but light on

BCM Release 3.5 build 2.3b

I have minimal experience with this system.

I removed all of the old messages, deleted and recreated the voicemail box, tried switching phones and compared settings of this extension with another, but the light is still on indicating there is a message. Any suggestions as to what else I could try?

Are you sure you on the right DN?

Do a F*0 and hit Intercom button, what DN does it show?

I have seen many times where someone has switched phones because another phone was cleaner or nicer looking and they where calling the Vmail of the label on the phone but not the DN of the phone.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Feature #65 will clear it if the user has no messages in their mailbox.

Feature 65 will tell u which set called your phone and F#65 will erase it.

It was the correct DN and Feature #65 did clear it.
