We use the Avaya IPoffice 406 w/5410 5420 5610 phones.
This morning everybody's phone display shows the same oddity, when logged off. It shows three lines of info.
a=, b=, 1 1 5.

If you click the button labeled as "1<space>1<space>5"
you can then login, and all appears to be working normal.

I guess the "1 1 5" is probably irrelevant to the actual question. Does anyone know what would change everybody's display? Home users and in-house.

No errors show in manager.exe, and the "buttons" tabs look normal.

Maybe the user NoUser had it's buttons changed? You said it only occurs when logged off?

Yes, I can go to any phone on the network, and click the log off / log out button, and the display will be as mentioned. ---- You were correct, the "nouser" did get changed. Problem resolved.

next step would be find out who changed it, ask them why, then slap them about a bit

If 3.2 or higher then log in go to "file" and then "advanced" and then "audit trial" :)
