Phone Dial Out with an hic cup pause

We have an 509 rev7 with an 308 on a 2 slot carrier all phone 18D seriesII.

When we dial an phone number the display only will blank out for a second after I dial four or five number. It like if it hic cup then I would have dial it again before it work. It does it like maybe every 2-3 call we make. It does on all telephone and CO line only on ext 18-26 . It Doesn't happen on ext 10-17 work fine. Any Idea what causing the problem....TIA

have you changed the module in that slot

Yes, we added the 308 w/ the new 2 slot carrier. But did not notice the problem it could been there when add the 2 slot carrier & 308 MOdule.

Have you tried power cycling the Partner system?

Yes, we powered down for above five minute the problem still there. ...thanks

So, if you swap any of the phones to stations, 10-17, they work OK?
Have you tried re-seating the modules in the 2-slot carrier?

Have you tried a single line 2500 type set to see if the same thing happens as fas as the disconnect is concerned?

Does it happen on all CO lines from 18-26?

We used other phones & also use the butt-set at the ext port problem still there. Rebooted System & Reseating Module to 2 module carrier All being done & check at the Module card & processor card no luck...thank for your help I will try maybe another processor card next

If you already tried a different 308EC module, then the processor is the only thing left to try.

Another question, does this affect any in progress calls on other phones?
Also, have you check the AC line voltage, in case that may be suspect?
