PHONE DESIGNER ERROR

I am getting a communications failed error when trying to use Phone Designer with a 9971 set. Same application works fine on my 7925. Any ideas?

have you enabled web access on the 9971? Also have you checked to make sure phone designer supports the 9971 sip phones?

Does designer work for 8.6? I was told by my installer that it does not work on my upgraded version.
